Things that I just bought (Steve Madden edition)

So lately, I’ve been neglectful of my blog, my health, and my wardrobe. I’ve been in this weird obsessive home decor mode and it’s been bad. But yesterday, I stumbled into Crossroads Trading Co in Santa Monica (a used clothes boutique) and remembered that I love buying clothes. I got a scarf, a shirt, and a wonderfully floppy hat (pictures will eventually be up).

I also just got my tax refund today from the state of Oregon (woo!). So I decided to get me some designer shit.

Can you tell I have a thing for bright colors?

Hopefully this will spur me back to the gym as well.

I shopped

What’s new? Anthropologie this time. Mostly because I REALLY WANTED THE TOTE BAG.

And Alex, before you say anything about how my STUPID CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL COMPANY BAG WILL EVENTUALLY COME (it’s been over a month and all I’ve gotten is a stupid email saying it’s on it’s way… a week ago), I need this bag too… as something big that I can bring my lunch and other things back and forth from the office (instead of the reusable Urban Outfitters bag that I use right now that’s getting a hole in it).

Plus I fell in love with the scarf. NO JUDGEMENTS.

Also, the last item (the shirt with kites on it) is actually a pajama shirt. But I’m going to wear it as a real shirt. BECAUSE I CAN.

Alright, so we’ve already decided that I’m a bad person

…. because of how much I’m shopping lately. The scarf, the bag, the fancy pedometer (which I forgot to wear today), the booties…. I mean, it’s honestly ridiculous.

But now I see these and they’re so pretty.

This time, I’m REALLY not going to buy them, though. I mean, I just spent $150 on a purse. And I don’t really even like leopard print that much. And the platform is a little too high.

This is me SERIOUSLY getting my spending under control
