Which means I have to go back to work tomorrow. Bleh. Ever since I got back to California on Friday night, I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to breathe, I’ve been so busy.
Yesterday I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 10 minutes on the bike (I just get so bored, honestly), and some minor strength (leg presses, hamstring curls, quad extenders, and chest presses). Again, I didn’t have enough time to spend at the gym as I wanted. But after a long trip around Whole Foods (and a delicious vegan burrito), I was completely exhausted. It might have something to do with some stuff that I’m going through right now, but I had zero energy to make it to the Ducks pep rally on the Santa Monica pier. D went alone, which made me feel bad.
In fact, I could barely get up to make it to the Blazers game, but I’m glad I did. Even though we lost, it was fun to be at the Staples Center and see all the Duck fans at the game. I was hungry during the game, though, but did NOT want to eat any of the disgusting food there. So I held out until we were headed home… Then broke down and got Taco Bell. To be fair, I only got one bean burrito, but i still felt gross afterward.
Today is going to be difficult too. It’s my rest day because I’m spending all day in Pasedena at the Rose Bowl. There will be lots of walking, but also lots of booze and unhealthy foods, especially for vegetarians. We’ll see how it goes.
On a side note, I’m thinking of starting a fitblr blog just for this kind of thing. Would anyone follow that?
